Josh Anderson Motorsport Coaching ("I", "me") provides 1:1 sim racing coaching. This page explains what information I collect when you book a session, why, and what happens to it.
What I collect
When you book a session, the form collects:
- Your name, email address and phone number
- Sim racing details relevant to the session — platform, hardware, cars, tracks, experience level, goals and any notes you add
- Your Discord username, for remote sessions
I don't collect payment card details. Sessions are paid by bank transfer, directly to my account — no card or bank login details ever pass through this site.
Why I collect it
To confirm your booking, prepare for the session around your car, track and goals, send you an invoice, and contact you if something changes. Nothing collected here is used for advertising, and none of it is sold to anyone.
Who it's shared with
A few services help run this site. Each only sees what it needs to do its job:
- Resend — sends your booking confirmation and invoice email, including the calendar invite attached to it. Your name and email pass through their systems to deliver it; some processing happens outside Australia.
- Neon — hosts the database this information is stored in, in Sydney, Australia.
- Vercel — hosts the website itself.
None of these services are given anything beyond what's needed to perform their part — for example, generating the map on your invoice sends only my business address, never any of your details.
How long it's kept
Booking and payment records are kept for at least five years, in line with Australian tax record-keeping requirements. If you'd like your details removed sooner — and there's no outstanding invoice or legal reason to keep them — get in touch and I'll arrange it.
Security
The admin area where bookings are managed is password-protected. Data in transit is encrypted (HTTPS). No card or bank login details are ever collected by this site.
Cookies
This site doesn't use tracking or advertising cookies. The only cookie set is a login session for the admin area, which doesn't apply to you unless you're me.
Your details, your call
You can ask what information I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it, at any time — email me and I'll sort it out directly.
Changes to this policy
If what's collected or how it's used changes, this page will be updated to match. Check back if you'd like the current version.
