The coach

A race winner, on track and on the sim.

I've competed at a high level in both real-world motorsport and at the top level of sim racing esports. I've also worked in race engineering and coaching, and have spent years using simulators and telemetry as serious development tools to make myself and other drivers faster. That’s the perspective you get in a session — not generic advice, but the same approach used to find time at a race meeting.

Data & analysis

Where the time went, in black and white.

Feel tells you something is wrong. Data tells you what. Comparing brake, throttle, steering and speed traces against a reference turns “the car feels loose on entry” into a specific input, at a specific point on the track, that you can change on the next lap.

Telemetry and data analysis

Two ways to work together

On-site

You come to the JA Motorsport Simulator in Penrith. Everything is set up and calibrated properly, I’m in the room with you, and we can change something and check it on the very next lap. This is the fastest way to work on your technique.

Penrith, NSW

Roughly an hour west of the Sydney CBD. Ample street parking is available.

Remote

If you have a suitable simulator of your own, we can run the session over Discord with voice and screen share. You drive on the hardware you actually race on, which makes everything we work on directly transferable.

You’ll need a wheel and pedals, a stable connection, and enough headroom to share your screen while the sim runs. No physical location required.
